Highs today reached into the upper 60?s this afternoon with ample sunshine. Fine weather for early February.
Tonight under mostly clear skies and calm winds the temperatures are going to drop down close to freezing. Expect a chilly start to your Superbowl Sunday.
But also expect a super day weather wise. We expect lots of sunshine and highs getting into the upper 60?s. ?For those getting to a Superbowl party the weather is fine for travel. Pregame starts at 1:00pm on CBS 11, kick off is at 5:30pm. CBS is the proud host of the largest television event of the year.
Clouds will be coming in during the late day and evening from the west. These clouds bring with it rain chances on Monday.
I expect to see some light rain around overnight into Monday morning. The morning commute could have some wet roads. The shower activity will increase as the morning goes on, the best chances of this light rain (amounts will likely stay under .10? in most places) will be east of DFW:

Rain chances will return late Thursday and linger into the weekend. It appears that February is off to a mild start; we expect highs in the 60?s through the period:
